Brown Sugar Hand Scrub

There's a little bit of brown sugar left over each time we make a batch of candy. Since we're careful about ingredients we always start with a new bag of sugar and have had to figure out what to do with the leftovers. Well, we came up with a solution that's natural and luxurious. Brown sugar hand scrub.

We mixed lemon zest with Grapeseed oil and brown sugar to make a hand scrub that we keep by the sink. It's super slick so we've not been brave enough to try using it in the shower. Here's the recipe and a few photos to inspire you to make your own. It's super easy!

Brown Sugar Hand Scrub

1.5 cups of brown sugar
.5 cup of Grapeseed oil
1 tsp of lemon zest

How to:

Mix well and place in container with a tight-fitting lid.

Honestly, be careful if you use this scrub in the shower or bath. Wear socks or something so you don't slip. We use it on our hands after a long day in the kitchen. It takes care of our cuticles almost as well as the Vietnamese nail salon down the street.

We thought about selling this stuff, but it's just so easy you should make it yourself. Besides, we want you to save your money to buy candy instead. Candy that you can eat with your fancy hands.
